I have been with StoresOnline since 2004. I'm quite happy with the product and service. My sites (www.HealthyHeartHelp.com & www.AllNaturalElements.com) can be found on the fist pages of search ngines including Google.

I always find I interesting that people complain about how much StoresOnline is a scam, but don't bother elaborate on what they did to "try" to make it work.

This is not a "get rich quick" business. StoresOnline does not sell a business. StoresOnline sells a tool for use with your business. When you spend your money with StoresOnline, please know that you are investing in a business. Most small businesses fail in the first 2 years so the odds are already stacked against you. If you don't have the money to lose, you shouldn't be spending/investing it.

I believe the bulk of the complaints come from people who didn't understand what they were buying, couldn't wait long enough to see a return on their investment, or just simply realized that while the techniques to become successful are simple, it takes a lot of work and diligence to make them effective.

I was going to do business with StoresOnline; however, changed my mind after reviewing the BBB rating and read page after page of complaints and pending lawsuits. I look for another company, than take a chance with this one.

I agree the price is rather steep if you aren't in the business. You'd easily double that hiring a developer and SEO expert for your site using magento (Which is FREE!) Granted their backend is rather lacking featurewise, they do make up with some of their SEO tools. Stores online has found an interesting niche. They are marketing to people who have no idea how to get started on the internet. They can't take BV, OSCommerce or even Magento and turn it into a profitable site because they lack the technical knowlegde. I went to their seminar (I do SEO/SEM) to see if I might learn something. Honestly, I was rather impressed with their company. Lets be real, they are a business. They are out to make money. If you don't have the technical know BUT are willing to learn and work at your business then StoresOnline is a good way for you to test the waters.

P.S. If you couldn't get traffic to your page or couldn't get conversions it wasn't StoresOnline ripping you off. It was your bad product choice, web design, inability to market or poor research on your market.

It is not so much that we don't add why we think we are scammed but because the cost is so extremely high for something you can get at a more reputable business for 10% of the cost like www.sitesell.com
